Designing your bathroom Part 4 – Shower Trays
Designing your bathroom part 4: shower tray shapes, materials & options
Tray Materials
Acrylic- Standard tray, reliable and easy cleaning.
Cast Stone- Crushed stone and resin mix reinforced tray. Extra strength, guaranteed for longer, easy cleaning
Both our Stone trays and Acrylic trays are hard wearing and can carry weight. Stone resin is a stronger material so will therefore last longer than an acrylic tray.
Tray Options
Low Profile- The low profile tray is a shallow tray usually around 40mm in height, to give you the walk-in look. A sleek and modern design
Legs and Panel- If you need to raise your tray for pipes/waste, then you will need a legs and panel kit. See our easy plumb trays
It's best to speak to your plumber about tray options. Most of our trays offer a leg and panel kit.
