Quality, hard wearing, fully vitrified porcelain non slip floor tiles for internal and external use.
Slip resistant tiles are essential for high traffic floors and wet areas. All our non-slip tiles offer exceptional performance and safety standards for industrial, commercial, leisure and domestic markets.
Anti-slip tiles are available in smooth and textured surfaces. The more textured the surface the more slip resistant the tile. Some textures are subtle with a rough patterned appearance and some come with more detail in repeating shaped patterns including the popular pinhead and multi-disc.
Non-slip tiles are a commercial industry requirement in areas such as swimming pool surrounds, public changing rooms and toilets, food preparation areas and retail outlets where spills are likely. Fully vitrified porcelain is strong and durable making it suitable for working areas with machinery, vehicles and heavy weight.
Non slip tile slip resistance ratings vary from ‘R9’ being the least slip resistant, to ‘R13’ being the most slip resistant. There are also 'A, B, C' codes which relate to the slip resistance when in barefoot.
Guide to Slip Resistant Ranges
R9 - R13: The angle of the slope attained during the slip resistance test 'R13' being the maximum slip prevention
V: The displacement space calculated from the surface relief pattern
A,B,C: Represents the slip resistant properties in wet barefoot areas 'C' being the maximum slip prevention
