The tiles are commonly derived from kaolin clays and fired at around 1200 degrees centigrade making them durable - hence their suitability for walls and floors.
Available in a myriad of sizes, porcelain tiles can be purchased in matt or polished surfaces. Porcelain is suitable for all areas. Some polished porcelain requires sealing. Please consult the Tile Treatment section for more information.
